I don’t know about your kids, but mine LOVE Legos. So, when we were spending a week in southern California Legoland was a perfect place to take them. They have a special going in the off season to get 2 days for the price of one, so when we got into town on Sunday afternoon we went to the Sealife Aquarium and saved the rest of the park for Monday.
The aquarium was fun. We saw some cool animals and played with Legos.
On Monday we went to the main park. The kids even had Lego themed shirts we made.
We decided to go clockwise around the loop. We started in Explorer Island, around to Heartlake City, then Fun Town. We mostly just rode the rides. The driving school was particularly popular with my kids. Being a Monday in February the park wasn’t terribly crowded, so we didn’t have to wait long for any rides. After Fun Town we went on to Pirate Shores. Some of the rides there weren’t open, but since it was a warm day the Splash Battle was open and my kids wanted to get soaked.
We probably spent the most non-ride time in Miniland. The kids especially liked the Star Wars area. From there we went to Castle Hill, Land of Adventure, and Imagination Zone. We ended with the last showing of the 4D movie.
It was a full day, and the kids had lots of fun. Sorry for the photo overload 🙂
