Whidbey Island has several great parks the kids love to visit. Fort Casey is one of those. It’s a state park that was an interesting old fort. They love to play hide and seek around it. It’s also got a great lawn for flying kites, and playing field games. And just down from the fort is the beach, rocky, but fun nonetheless.
It’s also got the Admiralty Head Lighthouse. The lighthouse has a small museum in the bottom, and you can go up to the light and see amazing views. Definitely one of our favorite day trips.
